Overview
Mount Siguniang, often referred to as the “Oriental Alps,” is the focal point of our trekking route. This journey begins at Changping Valley and concludes at Bipeng Valley, seamlessly connecting these two stunning locations. Known as the “Changping to Bipeng Trek,” or more poetically, the “Kiss of Siguniang – Traversing the Oriental Alps,” this route is celebrated as one of China’s top ten classic hiking trails among outdoor enthusiasts.
Highlights
- Shuangqiao Valley: Shuangqiao Valley is the most developed and accessible valley in the Mount Siguniang scenic area, suitable for general tourists. It features snow-capped mountains, forests, meadows, and streams, with shuttle buses available for easy sightseeing.
- Changping Valley : It is a paradise for hikers, offering light trekking or horseback riding through primitive forests, snow-capped mountains, and glaciers, with stunning views of Yaomei Peak.
- Haizi Valley: It is famous for its alpine lakes (Haizi) and untouched landscapes, suitable for visitors with some hiking experience. It is the starting point for climbing Da Peak and Er Peak and a perfect spot for photography.
